Enter what I am lovingly calling the "beagle shrine".
This is the wall between our two bedrooms. There's absolutely no natural light back here, so excuse the ultra florescent lit photo. This is now our beagle shrine.
Those who followed our wedding blog, might recognize the Jack and Abby pen renderings drawn by my brother-in-law, Colin. The two new pieces were found on Etsy. The one in the lower left corner is a dictionary page with a beagle over the top of it. The top right picture, my favorite, is a play on the classic "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster which was originally produced by the British government during WWII in order to help assuage its citizens' fears of invasion.
Overall, it did take me a while to measure and hang everything in order to get the lines pretty even. I like the look of the even borders, but I can already tell you that keeping those pictures straight is going to drive me nuts. I originally thought I'd spray paint the two brown frames around Colin's drawings black once the weather warms up, but I don't actually hate the mixed frame look. We'll see.
So, there it is. The new tribute to our babies.

Yes....you are crazy beagle people, but that's okay. I like the arrangement.
